Foul ball lands in nachos at Rangers-Padres game (video)

Don’t buy nachos if you go to a Texas Rangers home or road game.

The Padres’ Will Venable bounced a foul ball into the seats Tuesday at Petco Park and it landed in a Rangers fan’s nachos.

A man and woman, both wearing Rangers T-shirts, sat next to each other and appeared to be sharing the nachos. The woman kept eating after the ball skipped through their snack. Apparently she likes rawhide-flavored cheese.

But check out the dude next to these Rangers fans. Are those chopsticks? If you need chopsticks to eat it, then it ain’t real ballpark food. There’s no chopsticks in baseball!!

Well, maybe there are. The Padres are batting .245 as a team this year, 26th in the majors. Perhaps they’ve been using chopsticks to hit the ball.

Earlier this year, the Rangers’ Prince Fielder hit a foul ball into a fan’s nachos at The Ballpark at Arlington. That was a little bit more of a spectacle as cheese exploded all over the woman’s clothes and hair as well as the seat next to her.

The lesson is that it’s bad luck to go to a ballpark in Rangers gear and eat nachos.
