George Springer’s strong vertical leap helps rob Jose Abreu of home run (VIDEO)

Most everything this season has been going the way of the Chicago White Sox. And most everything has been going against the Houston Astros.

But for one play on Thursday, the ‘Stros had the upper hand — thanks to some major hops from George Springer.

With two outs and none on in the bottom of the first inning in Chicago, Jose Abreu sent a deep fly ball to right field — destined to go over the fence.

Springer, though, had other ideas.

Instead of a 1-0 White Sox lead, it was one incredible out — and a sure-fire candidate for ‘Catch of the Year’.
