Detroit Lions head coach Jim Caldwell does not shy away from showing emotion on the field, and is the definition of a player’s coach.
He certainly showed that during Sunday’s game against the Lions.
The Eagles had a chance to put the game away, clinging to a lead, but on third down, they dialed up a pitch for fumble-prone Ryan Mathews.
Sure enough, Mathews fumbled near the sideline, and Caldwell was super-pumped about it.
The Lions recovered, and went on to win the game via a field goal. The Eagles are undefeated no more.
