Larry Fitzgerald catches 100th career TD (VIDEO)

The legend of Larry Fitzgerald keeps growing.

The 33-year-old Arizona Cardinals receiver hauled in career touchdown catch No. 100 Sunday night against the New England Patriots and it was a beauty. Carson Palmer threw a nice touch pass right over his receiver’s left shoulder and Fitzgerald made the diving catch in the corner of the end zone.

Fitzgerald became the 10th player in NFL history to catch 100 touchdowns and is now tied with Steve Largent and Tim Brown for 8th all-time. Fitzgerald is also 11th in receptions and 15th in receiving yards. Standings like that are sure to get him in the Hall of Fame someday.

Unfortunately, Fitzgerald’s team came up short in Week 1, losing 23-21 to the Patriots after missing a last-second field goal. The good news is Fitzgerald can still ball and shows no signs of slowing this late in his career.
