We all remember when LeBron James posted a photo on Instagram that showed Kermit the Frog sipping tea on a hat alongside the Larry O’Brien Trophy after the Cavs defeated the Warriors in the NBA Finals.
It was the same post in which James pleaded with the public to “#PutSomeRespekOnMyName,” and ran through some of the criticism he’s received over the years, responding with “but that’s none of my business.”
We all thought that would be the end of Kermit the Frog, since many other athletes and celebrities had already used the graphic on memes. It’s certainly not original to James.
On Monday, though, James took to Instagram to post a photo of a hat showing Kermit the Frog kissing the Larry O’Brien Trophy, with a crown on his head.
We won’t be surprised when the LeBron James Collection, the superstar’s fashion line, begins selling this item, or something similar to it.
