LeBron James talks about community issues on ‘The Daily Show’

LeBron James considers himself to be an activist of sorts, and when he speaks, people listen.

James recently appeared on “The Daily Show” to talk with host Trevor Noah about issues away from the basketball court. He stressed the importance of education for our youth, as well as giving back to the community in general.

It’s clear his main reason for appearing was to promote The LeBron James Charity Foundation, but it’s always nice when athletes speak on community issues to help spark change. It all starts there.

James has no problem opening up to the public about what he’s doing in the community, in fact he’s quite candid about it. He said he has personally reached out to kids that are struggling in school or with their grades, and that’s pretty cool.
