Martellus Bennett and Michael Bennett go off in ESPN interview

Brothers Martellus Bennett and Michael Bennett show no mercy in an interview for ESPN’s E:60 that will air Wednesday night.

In a promo that aired Tuesday, Martellus Bennett ripped former teammate Jason Witten. Now a tight end for the Patriots, Bennett said that Witten never talked to him in Dallas.

“I hated Witten,” he said.

Michael Bennett rips Roger Goodell, and Martellus Bennett criticizes Jay Cutler, both of which are pretty standard fare.

Here’s where it gets juicy.

Michael Bennett, the older brother and a Seahawks defensive end, said college athletes should be paid, and even played the “slavery” card.

Martellus Bennett explained the Bears’ 19-29 record during his three years there (2013-2015) by using a word that rhymes with “itches” and saying the Bears had too many of them on the roster.

This is going to be good.
