Matthew Dellavedova had the game of his life in the pivotal Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday night.
Dellavedova must have known that teams that win Game 3 of a tied NBA Finals series go on to win 84 percent of the time, because he turned in the best performance of his career.
The Cavaliers guard scored 20 points, hauled in five rebounds and dished out four assists in the game, and that includes one off-balance shot which was quite spectacular.
After Stephen Curry drained a three-pointer to cut the Cavaliers’ lead to 81-80, the pressure was on Cleveland. Dellavedova answered on the possession that followed.
With Curry draped all over him, Dellavedova took some contact from the Warriors guard and attempted a runner. He drew the foul and banked in the incredible shot, and went on to complete the three-point play. It was a clutch shot which pushed the lead back up to four points.

Dellavedova’s shot seemed to fire up the Cavs, and it helped them close out the Warriors in a 96-91 victory at Quicken Loans Arena.
