It’s not very often a quarterback gets the best of a defender on a run. So when Matthew Stafford hit the truck stick on Perrish Cox during Sunday’s Lions-Titans game, it was a big deal.

Stafford lowers his shoulder and absolutely destroys the Titans defensive back while trying to pick up a first down on 3rd-and-8. Maybe that will teach defensive backs not to take on the 6-foot-3, 226-pound quarterback without some help.
