Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford suffered an unfortunate fate when he had his helmet literally ripped off his head during the second quarter of the game.
It happened on a pass play, with Eagles DT Fletcher Cox attempting to generate some pressure on Stafford. While it’s hard to tell exactly how it happened, it looked as if his own player may have banged into him to pop it off his head.
Stafford got a bit unlucky here.
