If at first you don’t succeed—try, try again.
That’s what one fan did at Tuesday night’s Yankees-Red Sox game, but it didn’t work out well for him. In fact, the results were downright embarrassing.
The male fan and a female friend had front-row seats for the action. He was presented with three opportunities to impress her, but failed miserably each time. It started when a foul ball was popped up right where he was standing, so he got under it and prepared to make the catch.
But somehow the ball fell right through his outstretched hands. No biggie, though, as he had two more opportunities to redeem himself in the form of ground balls. Unfortunately, the first one caromed off his chest, and the second bounced and hit him right in the face!

The female friend seated next to him had a good laugh after he got hit in the face with one of the balls, so let’s just hope she likes funny guys over athletic ones—for his sake.
