Tom Brady has a “great amount of respect” for Roger Goodell and the NFL, but the feeling may not be mutual. The NFL released a promotional tweet for Super Bowl 50 yesterday featuring the game’s logo and a collection of top NFL quarterbacks. However, a certain four-time champion and reigning Super Bowl MVP was conspicuously absent. The snub did not last long, as the NFL deleted the tweet a few hours after its posting.

The reason for Brady’s omission is unclear. Perhaps someone in the league’s PR department is just a really big fan of Carson Palmer.
