Youth football has undergone a transformation in recent years due to the increased awareness surrounding concussions. Some parents have made the decision to keep their kids off the field, while those that do let their children play are doing so with an increased eye on safety. While there are risks any time a player steps on the field, no parent expects their child to get leveled by a an adult in a mountain lion costume.
Enter Rocky, mascot for the Denver Nuggets…
Not only did the mascot lay down a vicious hit on the grade schooler, but he followed it up with a menacing stare down.
Rocky will be expecting a letter from the league office.
