NFL commissioner Roger Goodell elected not to attend the 2015 NFL season opener between the Steelers and Patriots at Gillette Stadium on Thursday night.
Patriots fans made sure to let him know about it.
With Deflategate still fresh in their minds, they decided to throw some verbal jabs at the commish during the game in the form of chants.
One of the most prevalent ones was a “Where is Roger?” chant, which happened to be quite loud. Fans from inside the stadium posted videos of it.

The impact was certainly felt, as Cris Collinsworth even mentioned the chant during the broadcast.
Goodell may be a super-villain, but you can’t blame him for not attending the game to face a sold-out crowd full of angry Patriots fans who had a bone to pick with him.
