The Kansas City Royals defeated the Oakland Athletics in 12 thrilling innings of baseball, 9-8. The team attained its first postseason win since 1985.
Royals manager Ned Yost made a few curious decisions on the night. And after the game, rather than praising Yost, Martinez delivered the tweet of the night. It was in reference to Yost’s postgame comments about why he pulled SP James Shields to bring in “gas.”
What Ned Yost it's saying about bringing in Ventura, it's horrible. How much gas do you want? Why don't you just go and get a gas station?

Martinez is quickly becoming one of the better MLB analysts out there. He’s brilliant and knows the game of baseball as well as anyone, and is not scared to say what’s on his mind. He has no filter.
But the night really belonged to the Royals and their fans.
