Proof that Omar Vizquel can still field with the best of them (VIDEO)

He may have quit playing full-time for close to four years, but 49-year-old Omar Vizquel hasn’t lost the magic fielding touch that made him an 11-time Gold Glove Award winner.

The former shortstop extraordinaire for 24 MLB seasons, and currently a first base coach with the Detroit Tigers, showed those skills on Wednesday night in the bottom of the fifth.

Over his long and successful career, Vizquel mastered the art of fielding with the Mariners, Indians, Giants, Rangers, White Sox and Blue Jays. After watching this, perhaps a few more teams will be asking for his services.
