It’s a difficult job being a referee, which we learned during Saturday’s Tennessee-Texas A&M game at Kyle Field.
After a Vols player and a member of the Aggies defense wrestled for the football at the end of a play, defensive back Justin Evans came flying in, in an attempt to help his teammate.
Unfortunately, his tackle attempt was a bit late, and he ended up spearing an official below the waist instead.
