Serbia’s Milos Teodosic put on a show Friday against the U.S. men’s basketball team with a dazzling display of passing, which made many question why he’s not playing in the NBA.
According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, Teodosic was offered a two-year deal by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2013, but he declined, opting to sign a contract with CSKA Moscow instead.
Teodosic had a game-high six assists in Serbia’s near-upset of the United States at the Rio Olympics, not to mention this beautiful kick-out pass while driving to the hoop.

Team USA coach Mike Krzyzewski praised the play of Teodosic after the game.
“As good a player, as good a guard, as there is in Europe,” he said.
The 29-year-old is set to become a free agent in the summer of 2017 when his contract with CSKA Moscow is up. Perhaps he’ll re-visit the idea of coming to the NBA, as there is sure to be some interest.
