‘South Park’ pokes fun at Roger Goodell, Patriots over Deflategate (video)

The Deflategate saga is finally winding down, now that U.S. District Judge Richard Berman lifted Tom Brady’s four-game suspension, but that hasn’t stopped people from talking about it.

The most recent reaction to Deflategate aired on Wednesday night’s episode of South Park, when the show mocked the dialogue between NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.

As usual, South Park had impeccable timing, with Week 1 of the NFL season now in the books, and Deflategate talk finally beginning to die down a bit. So they decided to poke some fun at Goodell and the Patriots in the show’s season premiere.

The main sequence involving Goodell, Brady and Belichick featured a dream in which Cartman depicted what may have been said between all three of them. The dialogue was hilarious.

“Goodell”:”F*** you guys, I can do whatever I want.”

“Brady”: “F*** you, I’m Tom Brady!”

“Goodell”: “Hey, f*** you, I’m the commissioner, I’ll make up new rules.”

You can watch that sequence in the video clip embedded below.

It’s great to see South Park continues to make viewers laugh, even in the show’s 19th season.
