Stanford WR Francis Owusu makes catch of the year (video)

Stop what you’re doing right now and watch the best catch of the 2015 college football season thus far.

Stanford WR Francis Owusu was faced with the tough task of attempting to catch a ball in the end zone which was horribly underthrown in the third quarter of Thursday night’s game against UCLA.

No problem.

Owusudespite plenty of contact from Bruins defensive back Jaleel Wadood, who was flagged for interference on the play—hauled in a 41-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Kevin Hogan.

It’s the way he did it that made the play so special. Owusu pinned the ball against Wadood’s back and maintained control throughout the catch.

The catch came on a trick play as well. It was a double reverse and the ball was actually pitched back to Hogan, who was initially lined up as a wide receiver in the Wildcat formation.
