Tebow has been training specifically for baseball for about a year, according to ESPN.com. The 29-year-old hasn’t played the sport on a regular basis since high school in 2005. He hasn’t played in the NFL since he spent a season with the Jets in 2012.
It will be interesting to see how many team representatives show up for Tebow’s baseball workout, but that won’t be immediately known because the workout won’t be open to the public.
Considering the curiosity factor that surrounds Tebow, it wouldn’t be surprising if an organization signed him and some lucky minor-league team sees a huge boost in ticket sales next year with Tebow on the team.
