After the New England Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks and won their fourth Super Bowl title since the turn of the century, many analysts and fans alike began to debate if they’re the best dynasty of all time.
Furthermore, much discussion arose regarding how quarterback Tom Brady stacks up against the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. After winning his fourth Super Bowl ring, he tied Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw—who also won just as many.
Brady has compiled a 4-2 record in Super Bowls he’s played in, while both Montana and Bradshaw went 4-0. But one particular actor is sold on Brady being the best quarterback of all time.
Mark Wahlberg is a diehard Patriots fan, and he was able to make his way onto the field after the conclusion of Super Bowl XLIX. And, of course, he found Brady and the two had a quick chat on the field, which Showtime’s Inside the NFL was able to capture.
Here’s how the conversation between the two unfolded.
Wahlberg: “You’re the best ever. Ever.”
Brady: “I don’t know about that.”
Wahlberg: “Evah!”
Brady: “I love you, man.”
Wahlberg: “F— that! Evah!”
Brady: “Haha. I love you.”
Wahlberg: “You’re going to add a couple more to that resume.”
There you have it. Brady is the best “evah”!
