Ted Ginn is really fast. He reminded the New York Giants of just how fast he truly is on a third-quarter punt by Steve Weatherford, shaking off a tackler and taking off down the middle of the field for a 71-yard touchdown return.
Ginn silenced the rallying MetLife Stadium crowd, shifting momentum back into Arizona’s favor with an electrifying punt return that gave the Cardinals a 19-14 fourth-quarter lead. The return was preceded by a drop on third down by Victor Cruz, adding insult to injury. Cruz voiced his desire to be targeted more in the passing game by quarterback Eli Manning.
