Watch: Odell Beckham Jr. catches first career TD pass

It seemingly took forever for New York Giants first-round draft pick Odell Beckham Jr. to get on a field on gameday. He arrived Sunday though, and he has delivered with a strong performance that includes his first career touchdown receptiona go-ahead score to give the G-Men a 24-20 fourth-quarter lead against the Atlanta Falcons.

Beckham’s 15-yard score was his fourth reception of the day and ties him for the team lead thus far with Rueben Randle who also has a touchdown catch. The former LSU standout caught eight touchdown passes last season for the Tigers as part of a potent duo with Dolphins second-round pick Jarvis Landry.

He struggled to get on the field for the Giants after straining his hamstring during mini-camp and reaggravated the injury once training camp got underway in late July. Sunday was his first opportunity to play a snap of football for the Giants since being picked 12th overall in the 2014 NFL Draft.
