If you haven’t noticed lately, Nick Bjugstad is starting to look a bit like his old self. He has seen something of a downturn this season. His P1/60 of 0.96 is the lowest in a full season by Bjugstad, and his iCF/60 of 13.01 is also the lowest in a full season. It also appears […]

Home sweet home! The Cats are back in Sunrise for a homestand, and it opens with the Atlantic Division rival Boston Bruins in town. Its a battle for second place, and its sure to be a game full of tension.

So, the Panthers are 5-5-3 in their last 13 games. That seems very mediocre when placed against the backdrop of a season with three win streaks of five or more games, including a 12 gamer. The frustration has been showing lately on Twitter.

Its the final game of the Panthers five game road trip. It is also the last time the Panthers will play a Western Conference team in the regular season. Its all 7 and 7:30 starts from here on out. I think we can all agree that is a nice thing.

The Panthers were wheels of fire in the third period. The Avs were able to weather the storm though, and held on for a 3-2 victory. Nutter butter!

Panthers stop their skid, and come out on top! It wasn’t pretty, but they got the job done.

The March towards the playoffs starts with the changing of the calendar to a new month. Deadline day aptly fell on Leap Day, as trades seemed to come in four years apart. Tallon fetched a 6th rounder for Pirri but the real moves were closed Saturday. Jiri Hudler, Teddy Purcell, and Jakub Kindl will all […]

0 for 2. That’s how the Panthers went this weekend.

We have more matinee hockey today, live from the State of Hockey. We probably won’t see three trades during the game today, and we definitely won’t see any of yesterday’s acquisitions. However, it is still always fun to take in a game during the daylight.
