2016 NCAA Women’s Basketball Rankings – Coaches Poll – Preseason (Nov. 2)

The first preseason poll for NCAA women’s basketball came out on Thursday and as you might expect, we find the three-time defending champions UConn Huskies women’s basketball team on top of the poll.

They are followed by the South Carolina Gamecocks, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Tennessee Lady Vols and Baylor Lady Bears in the top five.

The South Florida Bulls are the only other team from the American Athletic Conference in the top 25 coming in at No. 19. There are no teams from the American in the others receiving votes.
