Long hair is a staple on every NFL sideline. Every team has at least one guy with hair that covers their name and number on the back of their jersey.
Turns out, there is a price to pay for having long, flowing locks as Washington Redskins running back Matt Jones demonstrated Sunday. Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Fletcher Cox was happy to assist in the demonstration by grabbing Jones’ hair like a rope and yanking Jones down.
This isn’t a public service announcement, but it’s a cautionary tale about having long hair on a football field. The price some people will pay for fashion.
