UConn Huskies men’s soccer coach Ray Reid talked to the media (myself and UCTV) after his teams’ 2-1 win over the USF Bulls on Saturday night.

UConn Huskies men’s soccer defender Andrew Geres got the Huskies on the scoreboard first against the USF Bulls on Saturday night on a goal off a pass from Kwame Awuah. UConn would go on to win the game 2-1 in overtime.
After the game, Geres talked about the goal and what he saw on the play.

As the season has gone along, UConn Huskies football running back Arkeel Newsome has gotten better at all aspects of the game including off the field stuff.
And as UConn football head coach Bob Diaco said after Friday night’s win over ECU, it translates to success on the field.

The UConn Huskies football team has faced many different styles of quarterbacks this season.
They’ve seen mobile quarterbacks, passing quarterbacks, versions of both. But they haven’t faced two quarterbacks who offer totally different styles.
Tonight against the East Carolina Pirates, the UConn Huskies football team will face Blake Kemp (thrower) & James Summers (runner). It’s definitely not an easy thing to prepare for.

There’s no doubt that it has been a rough past two weeks for the UConn Huskies football team as they’ve fallen to USF and Cincinnati.
So how does UConn Huskies football coach Bob Diaco and his staff correct it? Do they give them more information or do they cut back on the information they give to the football players?

The UConn Huskies football offensive line has had its share of good moments and bad during the 2015 season.
With the exception of senior Tyler Samra, the UConn Huskies offensive line are young and a little inexperienced. However, they are getting better by the day, gaining that valuable experience playing.
Trey Rutherford has spent the season as the backup at right tackle to Andreas Knappe but had seen limited action until last week’s Cincinnati game. With a great performance up front against Cincinnati, we can expect that the UConn Huskies offense will have a little more of Rutherford going forward.

With Kenton Adeyemi missing the Cincinnati game last weekend due to a family obligation, the UConn football defensive line was a little shorthanded.
With Adeyemi out, Windsor, CT native Cole Ormsby got the start for the UConn football team against the Bearcats. Unfortunately though, Ormsby was lost for the season during the game with a “lower extremity” injury.
So how did the UConn football team get by?
UConn football captain and defensive tackle Julian Campenni moved to defensive end while Mikal Myers came in to play the nose guard. Folorunso Fatukasi also got in there and played the most he ever had in a game.

With the 5-2 win over the Boston University Terriers on Tuesday night, the UConn hockey program, led by head coach Mike Cavanaugh, is 4-3-1 against Top 10 teams in two seasons of Hockey East play.
While Cavanaugh is happy with that, he’d rather that UConn hockey be known as a top 10 team year in and year out.
