Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford: Franchise pivot, again.
2) Washington Redskins (from St. Louis Rams)
Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor: Accurate and agile? It is hard to find an accurate comparison for RGIII. All we know is that he will be something to watch.
3) Minnesota Vikings
Matt Kalil, OT, USC: Franchise bookend that the Vikings cannot pass on.
4) Cleveland Browns
Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama: The next AD? Cleveland needs a gamebreaker and T-Rich could be that guy.
5) Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU: Ronde Barber is still playing somehow. Aqib Talib is still not in jail somehow. Eric Wright got paid $37.5 million somehow. So they need one corner who will actually be on the field for the foreseeable future.
6) St. Louis Rams (from Washington Redskins)
Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State: Word is that the Rams are not infatuated with Blackmon, and their need on the defensive line is just as glaring as that in the receiving corps.
7) Jacksonville Jaguars
Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State: Maybe Blaine Gabbert really isn’t so bad. They signed Laurent Robinson and Lee Evans, and Blackmon could make it a respectable trio.
8) Miami Dolphins
Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M: If he is on the board, the Fins have to take him.
9) Carolina Panthers
Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame: Cam with Steve Smith and Floyd? Watch out.
10) Buffalo Bills
Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa: If the Bills are serious about this season, as they seem to be with the Mario Williams cash, they are going to need to protect Fitz.
11) Kansas City Chiefs
Dontari Poe, NT, Memphis: Tyson Jackson and Glen Dorsey are solid 3-4 ends, but that big body in the middle in missing. Poe electrified at the Combine, and he is getting rewarded.
12) Seattle Seahawks
Luke Kuechly, ILB, Boston College: Barret Ruud and Leroy Hill are hardly stalwarts in the linebacking corps. They may go elsewhere, but this is the best player on the board.
13) Arizona Cardinals
David DeCastro, OG, Stanford: Deuce Lutui is gone and DeCastro is ready to step in as one of the best guards in the league.
14) Dallas Cowboys
Mark Barron, S, Alabama: The C’Boys secondary got a huge improvement with the signing of Brandon Carr, and Mark Barron will be the cherry on top.
15) Philadelphia Eagles
Michael Brockers, DT, LSU: Brockers is raw, but if he has top-10 talent.
16) New York Jets
Courtney Upshaw, DE/OLB, Alabama: There have been endless rumblings that Upshaw will end up with the Jets, and there is no reason to think that he wont.
17) Cincinnati Bengals (from Oakland Raiders)
Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama: Cinci needs help on the corner, and Dre is the best of the bunch.
18) San Diego Chargers
Quinton Coples, DE, UNC: His stock has taken a hit, but he could be a Julius Peppers clone.
19) Chicago Bears
Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford: The Bears need a wideout, but they need to protect Cutler first. Receivers can be had later.
20) Tennessee Titans
Devon Still, DT, PSU: The Titans hope that they can get some interior pressure that they have lacked since Haynesworth got paid.
21) Cincinnati Bengals
Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor: Colt McCoy struggles, but who has he been throwing to?
22) Cleveland Browns (from Atlanta Falcons)
Cordy Glenn, OT/OG, Georgia: Glenn has the ability to play both guard and tackle, and T-Rich will have some talent to run behind.
23) Detroit Lions
Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina: The Lions lost Eric Wright to the Bucs, and they need help on the corner desperately.
24) Pittsburgh Steelers
Melvin Ingram, DE, South Carolina: A changing of the guard is quietly underway in Pittsburgh. Out with the old, and in with the young cheap talent. Ingram is a stud and they will run to the podium if he is on the board.
25) Denver Broncos
Doug Martin, RB, Boise State: Martin could be the new Addai in Peyton’s system.
26) Houston Texans
Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech: Jacoby Jones is not exactly a number two wideout. Hill has the size and speed to compliment ‘Dre.
27) New England Patriots (from New Orleans Saints)
Nick Perry, DE/OLB, USC: The Pats are wizards, and they will turn Perry into a Pro Bowler.
28) Green Bay Packers
Dont’a Hightower, ILB, Alabama: Desmond Bishop is a stud, and Hightower will look great beside him.
29) Baltimore Ravens
Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin: The Ravens are maulers. Konz is a mauler.
30) San Francisco 49ers
Whitney Mercilus, DE/OLB, Illinois: As if the ‘9ers pass rush was not dangerous enough. Mercilus can stand up as well if they need him to.
31) New England Patriots
Jerel Worthy, DT, MSU: This pick will likely be dealt, but if not a beast in the middle is always welcome in Foxboro.
32) New York Giants
Mike Adams, OT, OSU: If you have a pivot who has now won two rings, you better protect him.
