Seattle mascot pays up on Super Bowl bet

The Seattle Mariners mascot made a bet with the Boston Red Sox’s mascot and it’s nice to know that despite losing, Mariner Moose is a good sport and has followed through with the bet since his cities football team lost the big game….

Mariner Moose is the official mascot of Seattle’s Major League Baseball team and back in January, he was pretty excited about the Super Bowl. He even made a little wager with his Boston counterpart, Wally the Green Monster. The two agreed that the loser would wear the winning team’s jersey and fly their flag.

After putting it off for a few weeks, Mariner Moose finally swallowed his pride and made good on the bet. He posed wearing a TB12 jersey and put a Patriots flag on display at the Mariners’ home base, Safeco Field in Seattle.
