2nd round:
1. RB LeSean McCoy, Eagles (53rd pick by the Eagles in 2009) – He’s only been to 2 Pro Bowls but he’s widely viewed as one of the very best explosive playmakers in the league. And he may be hitting his peak with Chip Kelly as he led the league in rushing last season.
2. RB Maurice Jones-Drew, Raiders (60th pick by the Jaguars in 2006) – Too bad Jones-Drew never had the chance to play on a good team. He’s been to 3 Pro Bowls, even with the Jags, he’s led the league in rushing, and has been a top-5 fantasy pick across all drafts for pretty much the duration of his career.
3. C Ryan Kalil, Panthers (59th pick by the Panthers in 2007) – He’s been to the Pro Bowl 4 times and is one of the best centers in the league.
4. TE Rob Gronkowski, Patriots (42nd pick by the Patriots in 2010) – He’s been to 2 Pro Bowls already and he put together the best season by a tight end in history back in 2011. His career has since been derailed by injuries, though, so it remains to be seen if he can regain that glory.
5. WR Greg Jennings, Vikings (52nd pick by the Packers in 2006) – He’s been the favorite target of both Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. Pretty good company if you ask me. He’s been to 2 Pro Bowls and he’s a Super Bowl champion.
6. S Jairus Byrd, Saints (42nd pick by the Bills in 2009) – He’s a 3-time Pro-Bowler and he’s one of the very best playmaking defensive backs in the league. He was briefly rewarded as the highest paid safety in NFL history until Earl Thomas took over that honor in the last 48 hours.
7. RB Matt Forte, Bears (44th pick by the Bears in 2008) – Like McCoy he’s a complete back that can do it all. He’s been to the Pro Bowl 2 times and continues to be the most critical playmaking piece to the Bears’ offense.
8. G Chris Snee, Giants (34th pick by the Giants in 2004) – He’s quietly gone to 4 Pro Bowls in his career and despite being somewhat under the radar he remains rock solid in performance each and every season.
9. WR DeSean Jackson, Redskins (49th pick by the Eagles in 2008) – He’s been to 3 Pro Bowls and while his character just recently got him cut, he’s one of the most explosive playmakers in football.
10. LB Karlos Dansby, Browns (33rd pick by the Cardinals in 2004) – At 32 he’s shown zero signs of slowing down. He may be the best player to ever not make a Pro Bowl when it’s all said and done. He’s been a quality starter for 10 years in the league and counting, and last year was arguably his best yet.
